Russian energy minister confirms readiness to partake in OPEC talks
MOSCOW, Feb 1 (PRIME) -- Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak and Venezuela’s Petroleum Minister Eulogio del Pino discussed consultations on the situation in the world oil sector between OPEC and non-OPEC countries, and Novak confirmed his readiness to take part in the talks, the Russian Energy Ministry said in a statement Monday.
“The Russian Federation’s Energy Minister Alexander Novak confirmed his readiness to take part in the mentioned multi-lateral consultations if they are held to Venezuela’s Petroleum and Mining Minister Eulogio del Pino,” the ministry said.
Del Pino also accepted Novak’s suggestion and will take part in Russia’s National Oil and Gas Forum on April 18–21.
